Pragmatic Coaching Club's October Meeting

How do we communicate with people who are in a position of authority towards us, especially when we have different perspectives or intend to generate change in our approach towards authority ?

Whether it's managers, mentors, or subject matter experts in areas we are not familiar with, we find ourselves often in the position to require actions, clarifications, explanations or simply in need to find a way to collaborate with them that requires finding the right common language to keep making our points and considering our own approaches that may diverge from the view of the person of authority.

How do we interact when our counterpart is, in variuous ways, in apparent superiority towards us so that we still make ourselves heard and understood and the end result becomes a win-win ?

On October 12th, at the monthly meeting of the Pragmatic Coaching Club, we will approach, in coaching steps, the theme of Managing Upwards.
